Helllerwork Structural Integration
Hellerwork is a series of sessions of deep tissue therapeutic bodywork and movement education designed to realign structural components of the body and release chronic tension and stress. Client centered dialogue is also used to assist each client in becoming more aware of potential emotional stresses that may be related to physical and postural tension.

The series is organized into eleven sections that involves 90 minutes of attended therapy in each session. The Three Main Components of Hellerwork®:
Connective Tissue Therapeutic Bodywork - Deep connective tissue bodywork is designed to release the tension that migh currently exist in the myofascial components of the body, allowing the body to return systematically to an aligned position. This aspect of Hellerwork® Structural Integration is a "hand on" process, in which Practitioners works with manual techniques to release tension and shortening in the fascia or connective tissue and to allow it to reposition and realign. Therapeutic bodywork accounts for time spent during the majority of each session.

Movement Education - Through this process a client becomes more aware of their frequent movement and postural patterns. We focus on the use of your body in daily activities such as standing, bending, walking, lifting, and motions and activities that might be unique to each client's lifestlye, recreation/exercise patterns, etc..The goal is to discover easier and potentially more efficient patterns of movement.

Verbal Dialogue - The dialogue component of Hellerwork® focuses on each individual to allow for greater awareness of the relationship between emotions and attitudes and how they might affect postural, structural, and movement patterns.

Dr. Ensweiler has been practicing Hellerwork® Structural Integration since 1994 and considers it some of the most advanced structural therapy that he offers. He brings inspiration, enthusiasm, and integrity to this advanced system of whole body therapy.
